About Me
Somewhere between Proverbs 31 and “Who put Play-Doh in the air vent?”

A Note Before We Begin
I’m not really sure how to write an “About Me” page.
I mean… the whole point of this journal is that it isn’t really about me.
I’ve written in journals for years. Most of them have never been read by anyone else. They were just where I sorted through life, asked questions, celebrated little victories, and admitted the things I didn’t always want to say out loud.
This one is different.
I’m leaving the pages open.
I decided to stay anonymous because I don’t want this to become about a person. I don’t need anyone to know my name. If anything, I hope you read these pages and see pieces of your own story instead of mine.
I’m just a Christian mom trying to love Jesus, love my family, and figure out what faithfulness looks like on an ordinary Tuesday.
Some days I feel like I’m doing okay.
Other days I cry because someone stole my cinnamon roll while I was nursing the baby.
Some days dinner is homemade.
Some days dinner is whatever gets everyone fed.
Some days I feel close to God.
Some days I’m wrestling with complacency and wondering why it comes so easily.
This journal has room for all of it.
If you’ve ever laughed at yourself, questioned yourself, hidden in the pantry to eat a snack, prayed desperate prayers over your kids, or wondered if anyone else feels the way you do…
Pull up a chair.
I’m glad you’re here.
